Wabasha County Minnesota Sheriff Information
The sheriff’s office patrols a total area of 550 square miles of which 27 square miles is water. As of an estimated census in 2017, the office protects 21,608 residents. The sheriff prides himself on his approachability to his staff, County Officials, other County Departments, and the public. He strongly encourages his staff to be community oriented and strives for them to apply communication skills when dealing with the public. There is a snowmobile patrol, boat patrol, emergency response team, and a safe & sober program.
