The Sheriff’s Office protects as of 2017, 21,944 residents and patrols a total area of 723 square miles of which 7.5 square miles is water. There are 25 full and part time deputies in the Nobles Sheriff’s Office.

Visitation Schedule, Mail, Calls and Funds
Visitation for the jail is scheduled b appointment by calling 507-295-5378. Visiting hours are as follows:
Sunday
900 am – 11:00 am, 700 pm – 10:00 pm
Tuesday
7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Thursday
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Saturday
1:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Saturday hours are for those whose visitors live 50 miles away. Saturday visits will be assigned by jail staff. Inmates must request a Saturday visit by Wednesday of the week the visits is requested. Saturday visits ae limited to 1 hour per month.

For Video Visits, you must receive an invite text with a link to Reliance website. Follow information listed on website to register your phone number.
Inmate Money can be deposited to an inmate’s account
Money orders and cashers checks are accepted during visitation or by mail. Personal checks are not accepted. There is a kiosk teller machine in the main entrance of the Prairie Justice Center.
Telephone messages will not be taken for inmates. If you wish to leave a message you may do so by calling the inmate message system at 507-376-4203.
Mail must come through the US Post Office. All incoming non-privileged mail will be copies. Copies will be given to the inmate and originals destroyed. Address inmate mail to:
