Nicollett County Minnesota Sheriff Information
The Sheriff’s Office patrols an area of 467 square miles of which 18 square miles is water. The office protects 33,575 residents, population estimate in 2016.
It is the mission of the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office to provide quality and effective law enforcement services to the residents of Nicollet County with respect, dignity, and pride. The Sheriff’s Office has 3 employees including jail employees. There are also 10 part-time positions that cover the jail, dispatch, and bailiff. The Sheriff’s Office also has 23 volunteers that make up the Posse and Rescue unite.

Nicollett County, Minnesota Jail Information
The Jail was built in 1984 and hold 28 men, women and juveniles. The facility has added six bed and houses up to 34 inmates.

Visitation Schedule, Mail, Calls and Funds
Visits are non-contact. Inmates may not have more than 2 visiting sessions per day. The Jail reserves the right to refuse visits to anyone. Visiting sessions are subject to monitoring and recording. A Valid picture ID must be presented in order to visit Visits are limited to twenty Minutes.
