Visitation Schedule, Mail, Calls and Funds

Visits are limited to 30 minutes and a total of two people at a time. Visitors must have picture identification. Visiting hours are from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm for male inmates and from 6:30 pm to 10:pm for females on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Visitation is also permitted on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Easter. Contact the jail for individual visiting permits.

Telephone access in granted to inmates. After booking, inmates are permitted one free phone call. In emergency situations, the Correctional Officer will take messages and allow a call. You can make payments or purchase online phone cards for inmates through Reliance Telephone. Voice messages can be left at 218-384-4947.

Inmates are permitted to write to family and friends. Stamps for letters must be purchased by the inmate. Only letters, cards and packages postmarked and delivered by the US Post Office can be accepted by the jail.

Money can be place in the inmates’ account for canteen use. Electronically deposit money into an inmates account. You can electronically deposit $200 every 15 days into an inmate’s account. The webpage for electronic deposits is:
