Mahnomen County is in the northwestern portion of Minnesota. As of the 2010 census the population was 5,413 and the county seat is Mahnomen. The cunty is part of the White Earth Indian Reservation. It is also one of the biggest cattle-raising area in northwestern Minnesota. The county was found in 1906 and is named for the Ojibway word for wild rice.

Mahnomen County Minnesota Sheriff Information

The sheriff’s office patrols a total area of 583 square miles of which 25 square miles is water. The office also protects, 2016, 5,46 residents. The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer in the County. The Sheriff’s Office employs 14 full time deputies, one part-time deputy, six dispatcher/jailers, one administrative assistant, and numerous civilian transport officers.

I called this place as my son told me and the guy did not even give me a reason that he refused to bond my son. I just found out my son was in jail. This guy was rude! Thank you
