Carver County Minnesota Sheriff Information
The Sheriff’s Department patrols a total area of 376 square miles of which 22 square miles is water. It is Minnesota’s second smallest county by land area. The are no forests here in Carver, just savannas and prairies.
There are more than 200 employees and volunteers in the public safety department of Carver County.

Warrant information can be found by calling the sheriff’s office at 952-361-1212. If you have an outstanding warrant, however, be prepared to be arrested.
Carver County, Minnesota Jail Information
The Jail department consists of an assistant jail administrator, detention sergeants, detention deputies, jail program deputies and jail nurses. All operate under the leadership of the Commander of Jail Services.
The size of the jail is 68,00 square feet and regular cells are 70 square feet. Doors do not have bars and are operated electronically with an emergency key override. There are 60 security cameras in the facility and the annual number of inmates booked is approximately 3,550 annually.

Visitation Schedule, Mail, Calls and Funds
Visiting hours at the Carver County Jail are:
Wednesday, Saturday, and Sundays 1:00 pm to 3:0 pm and 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Visitors are not allowed to visit after 4:00pm on afternoons. Visitors must be previously approved through the Programs office two days before visiting. Each inmate must fill out a visitor list. Visitors must be pre-approved.
Visitors must be 18 years of age or older and possess valid identification.
Upon booking inmates can use the free and unmonitored phone. Inmates can also use the free phone after their initial bail hearing. When booking is complete, the inmate is issued a PIN number to use in their housing unit to make collect phone calls.

Full name, age, address, date and time of booking, date and time of release. Custody status, arresting agency, charges and bail.
