One of the primary duties of the Sheriff’s Office is the management of the jail. The Anoka County Jail is a 238-bed facility. We house primarily non-sentenced inmates in a combination of direct supervision and remote supervision housing units. Jail staff members strive to provide programs and services that are designed to meet the individual problems and needs of the detainees in a cost effective and efficient manner.
